Set in the suburbs of Birmingham, footballing protégée, Curtis, has just had the call to say that he won’t be getting a professional footballing contract. When tensions come to boiling point between him and his dedicated Mom, things take a dark turn and he is visited by the spirit of Diego Maradona in this strange and theatrical in-between.

Trying to design  the impression of a realistic small flat in birmingham, able to be used for more surreal scenes later on without giving away that aspect of the show too early.

It was made on a very low budget, and had to be able to tour to various, non theatre locations in the back of a single van, so was comprised mainly of two sets of triangular flats and minimal furniture and small props/set dressing
